A lovely resident of the Louisiana bayou. We spotted him on our swamp tour last week, during our trip to New Orleans. I’m glad he doesn’t live in my back yard . . .
Happy Monday everyone!

Happy Monday everyone!
Awesome pic! Looks like you had a great trip!
New Orleans was so much more fun than I expected (you know me and seafood…)! Plus, we had a chance to explore the swamps and old plantations surrounding New Orleans too.
Oh dear! He has big teeths
Benny & Lily
It’s funny, because I was taking pictures (and looking through my camera), I don’t think I realized how big he was!
Love seeing the pictures from your trip! They are amazing as always.
Thanks . . . : )
Oh no! I wish I would have known you were visiting! We live in New Orleans and Rosa (white siberian husky, toki look-a-like), Cora (also a husky) and I would have loved to take you to City Bark and show you how much fun it is! 🙂
That’s too bad! I would have loved a local dog-themed tour of the city. Plus it would have been fun to meet Cora and Rosa!
We’re already looking forward to another jaunt to New Orleans, so I’ll be certain to drop you a line next time we go!!
I wonder what kind of alligator is that.We shared about Crocodile few weeks ago in our herptile spotlight.
It’s an American Alligator: Alligator mississippiensis. It’s also the state reptile of Louisiana! : )
