Last Sunday, we were hanging out at home when Josh suddenly asked me, “Where’s Toki?”
“Toki? She’s in the garden.” (i.e. our tiny patio, with plants) I popped my head around the door to check.
Yes, Toki was there, but hidden behind a succulent, trying to pull out the fledgling grass blades from her Seed Bombs that I planted a week ago. Josh pointed out the window, to the opposite street corner, where a white Toki twin was holding court with a group of admirers on the sidewalk. He was worried that our social butterfly had found a way out of the house.
Upon closer examination, Toki’s twin was a little furrier, a tiny bit shorter, and had ice blue eyes. But, that girl could definitely stand in as Toki’s stunt double . . .
Except, did I mention that Toki does all her own stunts?
