I’m going to be away from home for almost a week and a half. First, I’m attending Josh’s college reunion at Dartmouth, in New Hampshire, and then I’ll be traveling to New York for a work project.
I’m not too worried about Toki – she’s staying with a trusted dog-sitter over the weekend, and then she and Josh will be hanging out during the week (probably polishing off the rest of those peanut butter dog biscuits).
But I am worried about keeping up with The Daily Toki! So to remedy the situation, I’m going to concentrate on documenting some doggy scenes from New York street life. Since I didn’t have space to lug around my big camera, I’m going to stick with my iPhone and maybe try a few new photo apps while I’m at it. (The New York Times recently reviewed and recommended the best iPhone photo apps.)
Luckily New Yorkers are a dog-crazy bunch, and their dogs tend to be a well-socialized. So I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll meet some waggy, furry friends during my visit.
I’ll be posting photos from the streets all next week.
Until then, have a great weekend!

…and Toki, be nice with your nanny!
Great idea! You have a great eye for composition, so whether you’re capturing images on a big camera or an iPhone I think your photos will have the same stunning effect. Enjoy your week in NYC 😀
