The Digital Dog

The New York Times ran an article this week about the top mobile apps for dog owners.  My previous experience with the “Dog Parks” app was pretty disappointing, but the “Dog Park Finder Plus” app ($1.99) recommended in the article is much more comprehensive.  It includes opening and closing times for local dog parks, as well as listings for state parks, beaches, and other dog-friendly destinations.  There is a free version of Dog Park Finder as well, if you want to check it out before purchasing.  In addition, there are some great mobile apps that provide health and first aid tips in a pinch.  Check out the article for the whole list of recommended apps for your phone.

Happy Friday everyone!

Happy Friday to you too! When and where was this photo taken?

Jenny – this photo was taken on the “bridge to nowhere” hike, outside of Los Angeles, in late January. (I posted some photos about a month ago from our hike.) As you can see, Toki was breaking in her new dog backpack that she got for Christmas! ; )
