ThedailyToki does not want to get up!

Toki has been a little more sleepy this week.  We’re not sure if she’s just tired from our trip to Oregon, or depressed that we had to leave the snow behind.  Interestingly, a recent study concluded that dogs can be pessimists or optimists, just like people.  Researchers also found that behaviors related to separation anxiety were more prevalent in dogs that had been categorized as “pessimistic”.

All I know is that Toki is an optimist if left with her favorite peanut butter-filled kong.
