Venice is Dogtown

In the 1970’s, a misfit pack of teenage surfers revolutionized the sport of skateboarding with their low-riding, powerful, aggressive style.  These surfers hailed from south Santa Monica and Venice Beach, otherwise known as “Dogtown”.  Today, the skateboard culture is alive and well in southern California.  So is the dog culture.
